Norell is an estate planning attorney who has been practicing law since 2006. Through her years of experience, she has seen too many families go through unnecessary obstacles, drawn out court proceedings, and unexpected costs after the incapacity or death of a loved one. Her sole mission is to educate families that all of this can be avoided – very easily and affordably – through planning in advance. Prior to joining Willis & Davidow of counsel, Norell ran her own boutique law firm. Today, she serves in a consultative role to our firm.

Norell also enjoys helping law firms implement software tools to help them become more productive and profitable. When she’s not working, you’ll find her spending time with her two sons.

Tylan Ricketts is an Associate Attorney with Willis and Davidow, practicing in the areas of Probate, Estate Planning, Real Estate Transactions, and Civil Litigation. Tylan grew up in Southwest Kansas, where he worked at his parents’ hardware store. After graduating from Benedictine College, he attended St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver, Colorado.

After seminary, Tylan attended Ave Maria School of Law where he excelled in Property Law, served as Managing Editor of Law Review, and he worked as a legal intern for the Honorable Carol Mirando of the Middle District of Florida. He graduated magna cum laude and received the St. Ives Award.

Tylan is an inaugural member of the Southwest Florida Catholic Lawyers Association, is a Chairman of the Ave Maria School of Law Alumni Association, an active member of the Federalist Society and is a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. He enjoys spending time with his stepdaughter and dog, and has a constant desire to learn new skills.

With his intimate experience with the joys and challenges of life, Tylan is able to handle matters with empathy and understanding.

Joseph Davidow is licensed to practice law both in Florida State and Federal Courts. After working as a certified legal intern for the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Davidow started his own civil litigation and criminal defense law firm in Nashville, Tennessee. After successfully operating his private practice in Tennessee, he returned to Florida in 2010 to offer his legal services to people of this great state.

Throughout the course of Mr. Davidow’s life he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Mr. Davidow has lived in Long Branch, New Jersey; Blacksburg, Virginia; Miami, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; Seville, Spain; and Tokyo, Japan. He is fluent in Spanish, and he also reads and speaks some Japanese.

Mr. Davidow has played many different roles in the legal profession. He has prosecuted cases for the State of Florida, he has worked in law firms providing criminal defense, and he has also worked as a legal advisor for an international corporation. Mr. Davidow has provided legal service on the administrative, State and Federal levels in both Florida and Tennessee.

Mr. Davidow uniquely utilizes the wide variety of his legal experiences and combines them with the depth of his life experiences in order to provide unparalleled legal counseling to his clients. He strives to be a legal counselor carrying good people through difficult times- not just an attorney doing a job.

Christina Davidow is a founding partner of Willis & Davidow, LLC, and has created a fulfilling career serving individuals, families and small businesses. Over the years, Christina has developed significant legal expertise in the fields of estate planning, real estate law, business counseling, and immigration. As a parent and small business owner herself, Christina is in a unique position to understand the importance of counseling others on creating, protecting, and passing wealth on to the next generation.

On the personal side, Christina places great value on enriching her community through service, personal interaction, and education. She is active in several different volunteer sectors, including legal organizations, civic groups, and religious entities. Christina sits on the Board of Directors for Immokalee Child Care Center and is Third Vice-President for the Republican Women of Southwest Florida Federated. Additionally, Christina serves on the NABOR Global Business Committee, NABOR RPAC Committee, and NABOR YPN Committee.

Christina is married to her husband and law partner, Joseph, and together they have three children. Christina speaks fluent Spanish, and is conversational in German and Italian. Ms. Davidow is from El Salvador.

James Willis devotes his practice primarily to real estate, including residential, condominium, and commercial transactions. He is also engaged in estate planning and estate administration, including probate and trust administration. He is currently a member of the Collier County Bar Association and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Florida Bar Section.

His experience in real estate transactions includes Florida Lien Law compliance on the construction of the original Coastland Mall and the Naples Grand Hotel, also handled closings on site acquisitions of The Southland Corporation (7-11 stores), and the legal documentation of creation of numerous condominiums, and refinancing of the Ritz Carlton.

Mr. Willis won the Lawyers’ Cooperative Publishing Company Book Award for highest grade in Estate Planning at Duke Law School and has also taught Probate & Estate Planning courses at Barry University.
